Also called the Real Sounding Speaker. Rather than mixing microphone signals, the AIRS captures an instrument from five directional perspectives — front left, front right, above, below, and behind — and reproduces each through a dedicated driver pointing in the same direction as its microphone. No DSP, no spatial synthesis, no mixing. Moving around the speaker is like walking around the original performer. Multiple cabinets can reproduce a full band, each instrument in its own position in the room.
